The social services in Huelva City Council

Abstract

This article seeks to summarize the process followed by the municipal social services of Huelva during the period 1983–1987, the development of the most relevant actions, and the resources used for their implementation. During this period, the social services underwent changes characteristic of the historical process experienced by society as a whole. This indicates that we are dealing with a dynamic process that requires constant attention in order to introduce organizational changes that may prove most useful for the improved functioning of these services.
