In September, from the 5th to the 10th, the III World Congress of Behaviour Therapy was held in Edinburgh. The event brought together over 1,600 behaviuor therapists from around the world, reviewing all areas of intervention within the discipline. A notable expansion of cognitive therapies for disorders such as depression, agoraphobia, and personality disorders was observed. Symbolically, one of the first working sessions was led by A. Beck and Ch. Padesky on the cognitive treatment of depression.
