Psychological expertise in family proceedings: legal and methodological aspects

Abstract

This paper aims to provide psychologists with essential legal and methodological information for carrying out assessments in Family Law cases, whether in Family Courts (where they exist) or in other Courts of First Instance that also handle such matters. The goal is to ensure that these assessments are valid and effective, thereby enhancing both the reputation of the individual expert and the profession as a whole.
