Abstract

In February 1988, under an agreement between the Ministry of Health and Social Services of the Andalusian Government and the University of Seville, the programme From the Beginning was developed at the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology. This programme draws on contributions from developmental psychology—particularly early intervention programmes—as well as health education, and is designed to support the maternal and child health programme implemented by the Directorate General of Primary Care of the Andalusian Health Service.
