.Abstract
The aim of this study was to characterise the social profile of young people in Seville attending family planning centres, particularly those relying on public health services. This research arose from the need to highlight one of the major challenges for young people—unintended pregnancies and unplanned marriages—and to move beyond the purely assistential role that family planning currently plays.
