The beginnings of legal psychology in Spain

Abstract

When an old friend asked me to write the prologue to this Apuntes de Psicología monograph, I confess I was overwhelmed by mixed feelings. On the one hand, I felt flattered, I admit; but on the other, I was overtaken by an unpleasant sense of being fossilised. When one is asked to prologue works such as this, it is probably because the time has come, or is near, when one is regarded as an honourable, old and dusty museum piece.
