"The Andalusian Mental Health Teams Conference has been a place for meeting and reflection on the care practices carried out by these healthcare services, which over the past seven years have consolidated as a specific space for Mental Health teams”.
This is how the brochure for the conference, held in Seville on 26–27 November 1999 and organised by the Macarena-Norte Mental Health Team of Seville, began. Beyond the human and interprofessional dimension that such exchanges usually entail, our focus is on reflecting afterwards on what was presented. In principle, the conference aimed to encourage reflection on the professionals’ activities regarding psychological treatments. It intended to be an exchange about these approaches and their variations in the everyday reality of Mental Health Centres.
