Abstract

As social phenomenon, the inmigration in Spain is just in its beginning, comparing to other european countries. Anyway, inside our borders, it is a growing process that generates a new population with their own special caracteristics and needs. That's why an urgent and effective answeris required; so we can reach an real integration between inmigrants and locals. Among the sciences that try to give an answer to this question, we can find the Psychology. This article aims about three main areas in psychological research, and intervention: social psychology, clinical psychology, and educational psychology. The separate contribution of each one gives the study of inmigration some wich and different aspects, but considerating the three together, is when we'll be able to give the best answers th the phenomenon of inmigration, always from an intercultural point of view.
