The clinical psychologist in the healthcare system

Abstract

The document reproduced here was prepared by a group of experts at the proposal of the two Andalusian delegations of the Official Association of Psychologists (Colegio Oficial ed Psicólogos, COP). The work was completed in December 1990 and has subsequently been used in various meetings and workshops organised by the COP. Its full publication in Apuntes de Psicología aims to disseminate the COP’s position in Andalusia on this subject, thereby serving as a useful tool for psychologists practising within the healthcare system, as well as for the health administration (in developing healthcare and mental health programmes) and the university administration (in developing pre- and postgraduate training programmes).
