Throughout Andalusian history there have always been families in situations of social vulnerability or poverty. Over the years, the characteristics and risk factors associated with these families have been changing, recognizing their multi-causality, diversity and dynamism. With this complexity, the Radio ECCA Foundation has been working to end this loop of poverty and social vulnerability, since 2007. Breaking this cycle altogether is very complex. However, the possibility of having a trained, empathetic, positive and patient professional is sometimes the way to facilitate children, adolescents and families can repair damages, and generate new solutions that improve their psychosocial wellbeing and help them to adapt to the world in which they live in a more confident and adjusted way. In this paper, the theoretical approaches on which our intervention is based, focusing mainly on the ecological-systemic paradigm and the theory of resilience, are presented. Next, the guidelines of the Radio ECCA Foundation and the CaixaProinfancia program are des-cribed and explained. Finally, the main lines of the intervention process are also drawn, from our professional experience.
