Marital quality has shown to be important for individual and family wellbeing. Due to this reason, researchers interested in the promotion of parenthood in risk circumstances have focused in this dimension. In this study, marital relations’ quality in a sample of 102 parents from at-risk families was analyzed. The results obtained showed that these families experienced problems in dyadic adjustment; moreover, negative conflict resolution strategies were commonly used. Nevertheless, most of these couples considered the couple as a secure base in trouble moments. For most of the families from this study, the sociodemographic profile of these families did not correlated with marital relation’ quality.
