A study on the incidence of burnout syndrome among workers at the Penitentiary Centre in Huelva

Abstract

In this study we have pretended to know the Burnout syndrome impact in the state prison of Huelva and the relationship with sociodemographics, cognitives and situations variables. The Burnout syndrome were evaluated with the MBI of Maslach y Jackson (1987). We have used the statics set SPSS 11. We have analysed results wich are unfavorables among prison officers in vigilance jobs. The women are stronger than men assuming de
burnout. The easy transparency in each job has a hight relation with the results.
