Review Guidelines
For the review Please assess the quality and originality of the work you are asked to review.
Regarding quality, please pay attention to the following aspects:
1. Quality of the content:
- The title and abstract respond to the content of the paper.
- Clarity and coherence in each section and in the paper as a whole.
- Currentness and relevance of the reference sources used to frame the work.
- Relevance of the objectives and coherence between the objectives and the methodological decisions.
- Procedural rigor and clarity in presenting all methodological details.
- Quality of data analysis. Order, clarity and relevance of the results presented.
- Coherence in the discussion and conclusions in relation to all previous contributions.
- Critical analysis of the limitations of the study.
- Implications of the contributions of the work for professional intervention or for the development of new research.
2. Formal quality of the work:
- Guidelines for authors and publication standards are met.
- The title and abstract are easily intelligible.
- The length is adjusted to the quantity, quality and novelty of the information presented.
- Tables and figures are pertinent and provide information that is not redundant with the text.
- Tables and figures are easily intelligible and contribute to improve the communicative effectiveness of the article.
- References are complete and agree with those cited in the text and those listed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper.
Regarding originality, please, evaluate:
- There is no indication of plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- The approach, objectives, methodological approach and/or results are sufficiently original and relevant in relation to the subject studied to justify the interest of the publication.
- The interest and usefulness for the academic and professional community interested in advances in Psychology.
